Diane Houle Bio

Always an art enthusiast, Diane started drawing and painting with acrylics in 2001, challenging herself, among other things, to paint Cezanne-like still life arrangements. She received generous support from friends and family and inspiration from the art culture she experienced in Chicago. With her move to Northern California, she changed her medium choice to watercolor and broadened her art experience by attending workshops, joining art groups, and participating in showings. She continues to enjoy the challenge of new art experiences now in Georgia and has included the addition of pet portraiture to her repertoire. She has attended art events and and is involved with art groups in Sugar Hill, Marietta, Alpharetta, and Midtown Atlanta. She is a member of the North Gwinnett Art Association in Suwanee.
